Martin Luther King Lister is the youngest of four children born to Pastor Robert and Mrs. Constance Lister. On August 31, 1991, he experienced a new birth and was baptized. He has since dedicated his life for the service of God and humanity.

Pastor Lister is both an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and a licensed attorney. He is a graduate of Oakwood University (Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Theology), Andrews University (Master of Divinity), and the University of Tennessee College of Law (Doctor of Jurisprudence).

Pastor Lister is married to the love of his life and childhood friend, Chavvah (McCoy) Lister. Chavvah, a gifted singer/songwriter, received degrees in Communication from Oakwood University (Bachelor of Arts) and the University of Tennessee (Master of Science). Together they have been blessed with two beautiful children, Garrett and Amelia.

Pastor Lister’s personal motto is to “Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly” (Micah 6:8). Driven by this motto, he wants to lead those in his sphere of influence to the One who continues to write his life story.
